Hello everyone! 🙂👋

I am excited to finally share the all new big release for the game ready Revolver tutorial as well as the free to watch making renders chapter of it.
Learn to love Blender as we create not only the revolver but also a flashlight and a reflex scope for it. Here you can watch the short chapter overview video for it. I am happy with how the tutorial turned out and I hope that you will also enjoy it.

The tutorial covers every step including, recorded as well as voice narrated in real time:

1. Blender Modeling, unwrapping

Blender is where we will spent most of the time as we make use of proven modeling techniques, modifiers, free plugins to do our modeling and unwrapping. Once we get to the highpoly part you will learn how to master blender's powerful remesher capabilities which is an amazing way to create highpoly models in a modifier based and non destructive environment and with excellent results.

2. Baking in Marmoset Toolbag 4 and texturing in Substance Painter

Once we're done with the Blender part we will then export our high and lowpoly parts over to Marmoset Toolbag 4 where we do baking and then import these maps into Substance Painter to create two different texture versions of our revolver, a chrome version as well as a metallic painted version. For that we're making use of all sorts of different materials, smart masks as well as carefully studying different types of wear and tear.
